Circle C

Location: Situated on 4,000 acres of heavily wooded land along Mopac and Escarpment Boulevard in Southwest Austin, the master-planned Circle C Ranch neighborhood offers fine living within a secluded setting.

History: Development of Circle C Ranch began in 1982 when Gary Bradley, at the time a part-owner of the Schlotzsky's restaurant chain. By 1990, Circle C Ranch was considered the top selling subdivision in Central Texas. Although, during development, the subdivision was featured prominently in a long and contentious environmental legal battle regarding urban development in the vicinity of Barton Springs and over Edwards Aquifer.

Architecture: The homes were built starting in 1988 and home sizes typically range from 1500 to 4500 square feet. There is a wide variety of home styles available in Circle C ranging from ranch style to "Austin Suburban" limestone new builds. Some of the most popular builders in Texas have built homes in Circle C Ranch including K.B.Home David Weekley D.R. Horton Standard Pacific and Cal-Atlantic Homes.

Recreation: Amenities include an 18-hole golf course called the Grey Rock Golf Club, tennis club, four swim centers, a fire station, and more than 500 acres of dedicated parkland. The Circle C Swim Center has a year-round, outdoor, Olympic-size heated pool. Circle C also offers close and easy access to the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center.
